paper table GIVEAWAY!

The giveaway today hails from one of my favorite companies. Paper Table came about because two smart-cookie ladies had an idea. The idea was to make setting a table easy. And pretty. Their line of products extends from placemats to luncheon napkins to coasters to cocktail napkins...everything to make an event perfect (the table part at least).

We wanted to make a contemporary line of paper tableware that was sophisticated, affordable, and kind to the environment. Oh, and really easy to clean up after. In short, something we would buy.

I like that. Paper Table is essentially something that anybody and everybody could use. Who doesn't need placemats and napkins?! The difference with Paper Table is that the paper placemats are reusable and the eco-friendly napkins match. I'm so on board.

FYI: The winner of today's giveaway (through Monday) will win a plethora of Paper Table goodies:

The Green Waves Table Mats

The Coral Waves Table Mats
Paisley Luncheon Napkins

Waves Cocktail napkins
Asian Flower Coasters

I love the whole idea of Paper Table. A beautiful and inexpensive way to redecorate my kitchen by swapping out placemats, napkins and coasters. Even more so, I love the idea of using paper as my mats knowing that I can wash off any sauces, crumbs or leftovers at the end of a meal.

Are you curious yet as to how Paper Table can be reusable? Initially the owners (Robin and Sonia) wanted to use paper in their designs, but when they stumbled upon synthetic paper they couldn't pass it up. Waterproof, tear-proof and recyclable, the tree-free paper has a matte finish and is smooth to touch. It works perfectly. The napkins and coasters are made of disposable paper, printed with water-based inks, no chlorine, and are completely biodegradable. Ingenious.

But really, you've got to be wondering who thought up Paper Table, right? Who has the brains behind reusable placemats? Let me introduce you. Robin Simon (a painter) and Sonia (a graphic designer) came together back in 2005. Their ideas matched as they meshed nature with urban living, evidenced in each of the Paper Table designs.

Robin and Sonia are giving all Tangled and True readers the discount of free shipping when you order from Paper Table directly. Placemats come in a pack of four, Napkins in a pack of 20 and coasters in packs of 8. While I love using Paper Table here at home to mix and match, I really like the idea of buying a set for a hostess gift. Or for my friend that just moved into her new home. Or for my boss' birthday...why not?

I really like Paper Table and had way too much fun as I set my table on the interactive website. Did anyone else?

Thank you Paper Table!
