raspberry kids.

I love one stop shopping. It saves time and money, and when it's combined in a well rounded boutique it really is about as good as it gets for me. Enter raspberry kids. I recently came across this web boutique and am amazed at the selection, quality and overall appeal. They have you covered from clothing to feeding to decor. They feature brands that you know and love, dante beatrix, babylegs, redfish kids, boon and more. Their tagline "fresh. healthy. fun." is the criteria they use when finding their products. There is nothing in their shop they wouldn't buy, want or need for their own children, which is reassuring to me. Anything I choose comes with their stamp of approval.

I am currently loving their Chipipi Wall Stickers from designer Samantha Peters. In fact I think they are genius. Removable and reposition-able they have been a hit in our playroom. The girls love making new designs on a daily basis, and I can breathe easy knowing they won't damage or leave a sticky residue on my newly painted walls. They're the perfect way to brighten your child's room or playroom and good for hours of entertainment. Available in three different sets Red Robin, Drive Time and Butterfly Patch. $79.99.

kiki and polly.

I am sure you have seen kiki & polly artwork. It is incredible, which is why I am so happy to introduce you to their newest line! I think you'll be quick to agree it's fantastic.
As an artist and mother I have always believed children's art should not have to sacrifice style or quality to embrace charm and imagination. With this philosophy firmly in mind I created my newest line of work. My wallpaper panel art weaves together different aspects of my past work, and I am so pleased with the outcome.

Lisa hand paints whimsical silhouettes of children with animals onto wallpaper and mounts them to wood panels. All pieces are made with only non-toxic V.O.C. paint and Birchwood panels. The wallpapers are simple and funky and each pieces adds life and creativity to your childs favorite spaces.

My favorite (although very hard to choose) is the yellow flourish wallpaper (pictured bottom left). I think it would be perfect for either a boy or girl, would look good with any of the silhouette colors, looking at it makes me smile and just shouts happiness to me. Which is your favorite?

india rose.

I recently happened upon India Rose. They have amazing textiles. These bags are some of my favorites I've seen. Can be used as a tote or laundry bag, although I'm sure I could find other good uses for them as well.

office space.

My husband received a very sudden and unexpected job transfer back to Portland, so we are in the process of moving on essentially no notice. Lucky for us we had no renters in our house at the time of the news, and so we are moving back to our old house. The only small problem is that our old house is on the smaller side, so I have been scrambling trying to come up with efficient ways to save space, especially with baby number 3 on the way. I am thinking we might have to cook up something similar to this pottery barn office space. Plenty of storage, not a lot of wasted space. Yay or Nay?

stocking stuffers.

We all know and love how about orange, and they've recently stocked their etsy store full of patterned goodness. Mousepads, postcards and these reversible canvas totes are something you don't want to miss. They fold up small so you can tuck them in a seat pocket or purse. Perfect for library books, kids toys and the grocery store. Affordable gifts or perfect stocking stuffers, you decide.

meet hawk.

Allow me to introduce you to Hawk. A little suburban dog, his many friends, and their great adventures, all captured on canvas. What little boy wouldn't fall in love with Hawk and his friends (be it a deer, owl, turtle or bird)?

Marnie Vollenhals created her own company J. Austin Ryan after years in the art industry. Each piece she creates delivers a unique style bringing modern, retro and classy art styles together. All of Marnie's pieces are hand-painted and done in small batches. Each and every one has her stamp of quality and won't be sent out unless it's perfect.

So take heart in the adventures of a little dog, let these paintings take you back to the days of imagination and childhood innocence. I know they did for me.

*Through November 17th purchase any item or items totaling $15 and receive a free print of your choice. Another perfect addition for your holiday list!

While browsing the latest catalog from Land of Nod I came across this wallpaper. I think it would be such a fun addition to a playroom or child's bedroom, inspiring creativity and showcasing their own personal style and artwork.

bedding.

We've been contemplating re-doing our bedroom and I really want this bedding in natural. Would cream bedding be a disaster with small children?

ashley york.

Welcome to the world of Ashley York. It's the "perfect place for people with more taste than time". In today's busy world that seems to sum up most of us. There is nothing I love more than having a go-to site for all things "uniquely chic" and Ashley York is the place of all places. They shop the world so we don't have to, finding things that are hand-crafted, modern, timeless, and full of celebrity style. But it doesn't stop there, they've searched out the best for more than just your kids, they've found the best for your home and you! (in both women's and maternity). yes, thank you! They're the one stop retail experience you'll want to come back to again and again.

My top picks:

mobile.

Another great Etsy find. I love the doors Etsy has opened! I wasn't always a fan of mobiles, but the ones that are out these days are changing my mind. Including this butterfly mobile. It would be the perfect addition to a little one's nursery.

chairs.

I definitely have an on-again, off-again relationship with Pottery Barn. During the last 3 years it has spent the majority in the off-again, but in the last 6 months they've really stepped it up. When I saw these chairs I was sold! I love them all but especially the yellow one, I have been daydreaming all day about where it could fit in our house. I've come up with a few ideas and now I just have to work on the husband.

BIN.GO

I have to say I am totally blown away by the new BIN.GO by Skip*Hop. We already know they are an amazing company based on their current line of products, but these top the list. If you're anything like me, no matter how hard you try to keep the toys, books and clothes in their designated rooms, somehow by the end of the day they are strewn across the entire house. The BIN.GO storage basket is the perfect solution..
"Our soft-canvas catch-all is strong and stylish: tough enough to hold tons of stuff, and chic enough to complement your playroom or nursery."
It is space efficient, holding anything from toys to shoes, it folds flat to store away when not in use and (my favorite part) it's large circle handles fold up for you to carry from room to room, the store or even to grandma's house.

Available in tabletop or large sizes and a variety of pleasing color combinations.

pillow talk.

Wouldn't it be fun to create a room around these pillows? I especially love the numbero one. I'd even be willing to re-learn the alphabet and my numbers just to have them.
