question.

Throwing a question out to you, our readers. I'm looking to print some pictures for our home. Does anyone have a good or favorite online printing service? I haven't been happy with the one we've been using so far. I want the color crisp and accurate and I like matte finish. Ideas?

  3. I've liked the quality from Shutterfly the best of the online printers I've tried. I also print everything in matte finish, and most places send them back too blurry. However, as convenient and (relatively) good as Shutterfly is, they don't even come close to matching the quality at my local place.

  4. It isn't online, but I know my professional photographer brother-in-law gets his prints at Costco. So, if you've got one close by, I would try them. You can upload your pictures and then just go pick them up.

  5. Definitely try Adorama (adorama.com). Their website's nothing fancy, but trust me--they're the best. They're based in New York and they specialize in professional equipment and prints. They won't even print your pictures if they don't think they'll come out well. Their rates are great, too.

  6. My husband is a professional photographer (www.adambarkerphotography.com) and he gets his done at West Coast Imaging. Not sure if you have to have a business license or not, but everything comes back to him just as he sent it to them digitally. The have a million papers to choose from as well.

  7. I too have been a faithful Costco online photo user. It's so nice to be able to upload and edit everything on costco.com, and pick it up an hour later. Great quality and so fast! Prior to that I was using kodakgallery.com. I see no difference in quality, and Costco's 1 hour is much better than Kodak's 1 week!

  8. When I want something fast - costco. When I want something done for pro shoot? mpix.com - wonderful papers, almost any size and you digitally crop to fit print desired on site - not possible with costco.

  9. We use Clark Online. They will send you e-coupons all the time too.

  10. As a photographer I recommend Mpix...for online. Costco has great color and if you live in Provo, strangely enough, cougar photo is where I would take my shots.

  11. Thank you, thank you for all of the suggestions.

I know there are a ton of Costco fans, but we haven't loved our latest photos from them so I'm going to try some of the suggestions from you.

Thanks again. You gals are my favorite.
