candlewick press book bundle. {giveaway!}

If we are to remain a literary people, we must turn off the television and read books to our children. But what to read? In this glutted market, mediocrity reigns.

Not so at Candlewick press. . . . Lively stories, superior art, and revisited classics are hallmarks of this employee owned company.

There is really nothing I love more than adding books to our collection. I so enjoy curling up with the girls under a blanket and reading them stories! It's a bonding time for us, a learning time for them, and a relaxing time for me. There's nothing like discovering the pages of a good book. Candlewick Press only publishes books they believe in, books that speak to children and that have the highest quality of words and pictures. That is reassuring to me, reassuring that no matter what book I choose to order from them, it will be the best of the best.

Today in continuing on with our back to school week, Candlewick Press is adding to the library of your children, one lucky reader will win a book bundle perfect for ages 3-7.

Included in the bundle...

I am TOO absolutely small to go to school by Lauren Child

Miss Mingo and the Frist Day of School by Jamie Harper

STANLEY AND THE CLASS PET by Barney Saltzberg

Maisy goes to school by Lucy Cousins

Retail value: $78

These books will reassure and excite your children about going to school through lovable characters and fun story lines that relate to them. They truly are an incredible addition to any childhood library.

  159. We love Charlie and Lola's I am not sleepy and I will not go to bed.

    The Mingo book you show would be great. I took my daughter to a photography show when she was 2 (I had some photos in it). There was a large print of flamingos. She yelled from across the room "Mingo! Mingo!" It was one of her first words.

  177. If reading could be a career, that's what I would pick. Wait, it kind of is if you're a mom. And an editor. And a writer. So I guess I'm pretty lucky to be all of those.
    But to pick one book...nearly impossible.

    Favorite Candlewick picture book: And Here's to You!

    Favorite Candlewick chapter book: Because of Winn-Dixie.
