ellabalou {giveaway!}

ellabalou offers the ultimate in baby blankets. They’re cool and smooth on one side and warm and soft on the other. Generously sized at 36 x 36 they are perfect for every season. All of ellabalou’s blankets are produced domestically and hand finished. They are machine washable and dryable. (This is huge for me! I have a daughter who is attached to a blanket that cannot be dried, it makes a clean blanket very hard to come by). They even say the blanket gets better with washing. Music to my ears.
Kerri-Lynne Menard & Laura Sterbentz are the busy girls behind ellabalou. With kids and a business and the daily juggling act of modern motherhood, we love quality, hassle-free products when we find them. We are inspired by the perfect marriage of form and function in our day to day lives, and set out to start a design business that’s about both at a reasonable price.
*As a personal side note: I mentioned above that one of my girls is extremely attached to a blanket. They are $65 a piece and cannot be dried, this is difficult all by itself but add to that the texture and dye of each blanket varies enough that we have been through 5 of these blankets and only 2 are acceptable. When ellabalou’s blankets arrived at our house, Stella fell in love with them, the color and texture are the same as the day they got here (even with multiple washings) and slowly we have been working them into nap time and bedtime. We’re hoping soon she’ll have made a complete transition.

Today we are thrilled to offer 2 winners an ellabalou blanket (a $56 value) in the color of their choice (there's five to choose from) which means we’re doubling your chances to win.

What color would you choose?

Tangled and True deal + discount: Visit www.ellabalou.com/shop-tangledandtrue.html to receive 10% off your purchase.

  4. I like bloom and bean. I am so excited about this contest as my daughter is due in three weeks. I have two sons so getting to buy cool girly stuff is a first for me and I'm having a blast. BTW her name is going to be Stella, I decided that 3 years ago when I was last pregnant, but had my second son.

  5. I would choose Bean - it's cute name! Besides I am 15 weeks pregnant for the first time and Bean is a great nuetral color. Love the blog! Thanks... Lauren T.

  14. obviously, this isn't an entry, but those look amazing! I've always been thrown off my those teeny tiny square blankies. and bean? the prefect baby-neutral color. (although I love dill as well!)

    and brittany, that super soft fabric doesn't tend to "melt" and become rough in the dryer? that's the problem we've run into with the soft fleece side on Cole's blankie choice.

  18. It would be hard, but I think I would pick bean over dill (just barely!) we didn't know if we we're having a boy or a girl so all of our daughters baby stuff is green and yellows adding this nice bean would be wonderful, plus she is really into textures right now!

  127. I would choose the splash color! I had a baby in January. I had heard about these blankets and decided to buy one for her. I got it and instantly ordered another. They are fabulous! My older daughters, 5 and 8 loved their baby sister's ellabalou blankets so much that they both longed for one. I decided it would be fun to get them each one for their Easter basket -- but it was just days before Easter. Those wonderful women went out of their way to help me. As a result of their great service and attention to detail, I had their blankets in time for Easter, and they were thrilled! They both adore them as much as I do! We've gotten a number of the colors and each one is prettier than the last. The texture is amazing too. Thank you for the great contest/giveaway. I can't praise the blankets and owners enough!
