ws kids.

Could it get any better? Williams-Sonoma has recently come out with a kids cooking/baking/party line. They have great unique invitations, kid sized aprons and rolling pins, personalized mini silicone spatulas and on and on. I'm loving the cookie cutters [which I have seen before and was tempted to buy] and the set of 3 ice cream sandwich molds I never knew I needed until now. Some of my favorites are

1. the cupcake cake.
2. the ice cream cone cupcake pan. (just imagine cheese cake frosting or softened ice cream..)
3. the cupcake with beaded cherry party invitations, set of 8.

Apparently I'm on a cupcake theme.

While We Are Discussing Dancing...

This song is a fun one to dance to. Not ballroom by any means, but Avery and I like to strap on our dancing shoes and let it loose to that song.

What do you think?

dancing

Do you ever ballroom dance with your little ones?

It's a hit at our place. I pick Isobel up, clasp our hands together, stick them straight out (you know, as ballroom partners do), and we glide around the living room. We do twirls and the dip and she LOVES it. Like hysterical laughter loves it.

Hmm...yes, being a mom involves some of the most random things!

surf and sand.

I've always been a fan of Bobbi Brown and her beauty mission: to help women appreciate their own unique features. Her philosophy is that beauty should be simple, real, and approachable. She's understated. But beautiful and youthful and smart. I've never bought the makeup but am excited about her Summer Surf and Sand Look.

Look here for the step-by-step guide to look "surf and sand."
1. Face
2. Eyes
3. Cheeks and Lips

While I'm on the theme, this beach line looks amazing! A scent that captures the "attitude of summer" with a blend of sand jasmine, sea spray, and mandarin? Yes please. {It might be my next yearly perfume purchase.}

bag beautiful.

We have never talked diaper bags. We bought two before Cole was born {Brad's man diaper bag, and my amazing girly one} , and they have both worked well. But..when I discover companies like Murge Designs and their amazing baby bag style, I just want to be able to start all over. [The good news is: a diaper bag is an easy thing to change. Anytime.] I think my favorite might be the bubbles model:

If you're not impressed yet, take a look inside:

...for $180.00 at Murge Designs. Sidenote-- don't miss the bibs, burpcloths, etc. etc.

I'm in search of decorating ideas for Cole's bedroom. I would like to make it a unique merge of modern (simple, clean, colorful) and classic (vintage fabrics, and making use of the pottery barn armoire and dresser I already have). I found this site which has some amazing products and ideas. This post won't be about my design inspiration, but rather a detour I took on the Coochicoos sight...where I found Turtle Papers amazing baby tees. I love learning about new, unique products and these animal designs definitely qualify.

Mr. Clean

Spring cleaning is just around the corner. Deep clean where you roll up your sleeves, tie a hankerchief in your hair and move the furniture out of the way.

I am here to attest that the Mr.Clean Magic Erasers are the way to go for just about any mess. The microwave is a great example. We recently had a hutch brought up our stairs and our walls got dirty from the moving blankets they had around it. Mr. Clean Magic Eraser got them off before I could even yell out Devin's name. They are amazing. If you have white cupboards (I do), they help wipe away little finger prints.

Here are some other tips for ways to use them.
