a "Valentine Box that doesn't look like anybody else's"

After scouring the internet for ideas

This is what we came up with.

Lily's Valentine Express

She was quite pleased.

We used a large kleenex box and a smaller square gift box

-white craft foam for head lights

-metallic black (1 - 12x12 piece) cardstock

-baby pink bassil cardstock (3 - 12x12 pieces)

-argyle scrapbook paper (1 - 12x12 piece)

-10 pink brads

-cardboard for wheels

-red craft foam for windshield wipers

-gray scrap paper for grill

-white cardstock

-pink alphabet stickers

How could I not fall in love with the blog lily jane? It is my first born's name after all. One of her latest posts boasts a diy tutorial for these fun Groundhogs Day cupcakes. I think two little ladies (and one little man obsessed with sweets) will find these the perfect afternoon snack on Wednesday.

I've been daydreaming of a citrus themed birthday party lately. All of my kids have their themes picked for this years birthdays, but I just may try to sway one of them. Here are some citrus party inspirations that have gotten the juices flowing, hopefully they will for you too.

I recently found these amazing DIY candy necklaces on paper and cake, and think it would be the perfect party favor in pink, orange, yellow and green.
