Favorite Fall Recipes

Happy November!

Now that Halloween is over, I feel like it's time to start thinking about the holidays. I can't tell you how much I adore the cooler weather.

I've assembled a list of our family favorites for Fall, Winter, and the Holidays.

Appetizers and Soups:

Phyllo Cups with Brie, Preserves, and Pecans




French Onion Soup



Butternut Squash Soup with Apples and Fresh Sage



Breads and Breakfast:

Refrigerator Rolls



Buttered Apple Cider Sauce on Buttermilk Waffles



Dutch Pancakes



Sides:

Cheddar-Corn Spoonbread




Potato-Celeriac Au Gratin



Sausage Cornbread Stuffing



Main Dish:

Beef Stroganoff




Pan Fried Steak




Crock pot Cassoulet



Sticky Chicken



Salad:

Mixed Greens Salad with Dried Black Currants and Toasted Hazelnuts




Desserts:

Cran-Apple Cherry Crisp



Oatmeal Pecan Pie (on our Thanksgiving table for the past two years)

  1. Wow - great recipes. I am going to try several of them. We always make dutch pancakes with powdered sugar and lemon juice but the brandied apples look deeeelicious. I will try that next weekend. Can't wait.
