Dogeared

I'm in love with the necklaces from Dogeared! You can wear this necklace with practically anything. It gives that certain "Je ne sais quois" to any outfit. From a t-shirt and jeans to a night out on the town, the simple and classic design is always a peice you want in your collection.Every necklace comes with a little saying explaining the symbol. The Karma necklace is one of my favorites (along with the cute little silver skull with heart eyes). Click on over and check them out.

hope for change.

I celebrate any man or woman who has fought for peace and unity and hope.
Martin Luther King Jr., among many, many others, have changed our world.

In light of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, I watched one of my favorite films for the umpteenth time a couple of nights ago.

It always moves my soul to action. Here's to choosing to improve our world however we know and can.

Enjoy today. We'll be back tomorrow.

plantable card.

Going to the post office is something I truly dread. Standing in line with small children is the last thing I want to do. With these plantable cards I can celebrate friends and family members birthdays, graduations and accomplishments with only a stamp and a trip to the mailbox. Plant the card and wildflowers grow. The card that keeps on giving. You can bet, I'll be stocking up on these. Genius!

super-smart baby pillows.

Deseta says to "live blissfully. always." Their website it clean and simple, and their products a step above the rest- celebrating (or creating) the super smart baby. That's blissful.
who says that reading and counting and learning should only stay on the pages of your baby’s books? they can be soft and cuddly and oh so cute, too….
The super-smart baby pillows (pictured above) are all hand embroidered and made of super-soft ultrasuedes. I'm excited to see what they come up with once they graduate from beta. It's already looking brilliant..

Animal Masks

How much fun are these masks? It wouldn't take any twisting of my arm to put one of these beautifully colored masks on and play with my kids. I would even wear them for Halloween. I love the names: Lucky Elephant, Demure Blue Bird, Clever Giraffe, and Intriguing Lion. You can find them here.

birdlette.

Because I'm 100% a tee person, Cole's wardrobe seems to reflect the same. I love comfy and savvy and am so excited about Birdlette: a company that believes in "sleek but not fancy, simple yet deep, beauty without pretension." It's new and it's perfect (sans pastels and kitty cats).

jax toy cube.

Ryan has accused me of caring more about the look of what goes into our house than the functionality of it. This may be true, but I think in my search for the ultimate play room storage I have covered all my bases. The jax toy box.

well, not a box, actually. organic cotton stretched over a minimal frame
yet so sturdy. quick assembly. suddenly you have storage. easy to take
apart and wash, too.

Throw in one or two of their jax toy cubes, and you'll have even more storage AND a table and chairs. Style, function and no complaints from Ryan. Perfect!

Comes in nest purple, green, orange and pink.
