goodbye and hello.

I've never been more excited for a new year. Something has sparked within me, I've been contemplating for weeks now what I want to do differently. I am looking forward to 2010 and I'm happy to bid 2009 a fond farewell. Maybe it's my upcoming 30th birthday that has me all inspired to do more and be more.. there are so many things to accomplish by the time I'm 30. It's only 9 weeks away and I'm busy making my 30 by 30 list. That's right 30 things by the time I'm 30.

In the meantime.. I've set four categories for New Year's Resolutions this year.

1. Physical
2. Mental
3. Spiritual
4. Fun

I've been scrutinizing over what to put in each category, which goals are worthy, accomplishable, etc. I'll keep you you posted.

What goals are you working on? What things do you hope to accomplish? Do you have anything for me to add to my 30x30 list? I'd love to hear.

Cheers!

  2. I can't wait to read your 30 X 30 list. I'm making one myself so I'm devouring these! My favorite is one day trip a month for the year!

  3. The one thing I was determined to do before I turned 30 was skydive. I did it, 2 days before my birthday and it was amazing! I of course was single at the time and probably would never do it again. Since having children I have developed a crazy fear of hight's. Now that I'm 36 I should probably start thinking about my 40x40 list!

    Good luck!

  4. What? You are turning 30 in 9 weeks? Because I am turning 30 in 9 weeks too! I have been quietly been reading your posts and admiring your creativity and all this time I had no idea we are probably birthday twinsies.
As far as resolutions, I am still trying to catch up on my 2008 resolutions! Maybe it's time I re-evaluate myself and set some more realistic goals. Such as: wake up before 11am on a consistent basis, sew at least one thing with the fabric I have before buying new fabric, get a haircut, etc.
