These fine quality, retro-chic aprons make the perfect fashion accessory in or out of the kitchen.

Oh boy am I excited about today's giveaway. I have waited and waited for this day.. I found these aprons long before the launch of the website on a photographer's blog. It was love at first site. I knew I had to have one of these beautiful aprons. They inspired me, spoke to me and reminded me that..

there is so much more to wearing an apron than just in the kitchen. Bathtime, Feeding the little ones, gardening or cleaning. It can be the perfect accessory to any daunting task and wearing one might actually make those tasks slightly less daunting, making you feel a bit more feminine which is always a good thing.

My favorite apron is the Penelope. I find it to be perfectly lovely.

And when one side gets dirty, or your looking for a change, just flip the apron around for a whole new look.

There are multiple styles to choose from, some come in kits for you to make your own, and others come fully made. Which apron is calling your name?

SEEING THE EVERYDAY is a magazine dedicated to revealing the effect and importance of the seemingly small moments of life. True, personal stories and articles unveil how our brief conversations and ordinary, daily rituals contribute to the success of our relationships with one another and to the development of character. The small things we do and say can influence individual lives, forge strong families, and unite communities.

I think its safe to say that in the world today times are tough. When I opened Seeing the Everyday this month, it was so refreshing to read about the good. Simple and good. I walked away from reading with a little lighter step.

Seeing the Everyday was a perfect escape. Beautiful imagery, beautiful stories and beautiful quotes. Stories that brought tears to my eyes, gave me hope in humankind and in good things to come.

If you're looking for the perfect gift, that touches a mother's heart, that keeps on giving throughout the whole year, the reminds that there still is so much good in the world, you won't find anything better than this. It's real and it's meaningful. Seeing the Everyday comes quarterly, with no advertisements, just 100+ pages of happiness.

lylalous {giveaway!}

Today's giveaway has me all excited for spring and summer. I saw the pictures announcing LylaLous on a photography blog a couple weeks before the shop opened. I started checking back regularly, because I knew the girls were in serious need of these, and boy do they look adorable in them. The construction of these clips/headbands is hands down the best I have seen. The flowers are the perfect size, not too large to overpower, instead just the right size to make a statement.

One of the best things about LylaLous is the ability for heads of all shapes and sizes to wear them. So if you love your daughters headbands and clips, you can wear them too. They won't stretch out (they're metal) and you can make a statement of your own. Worried about the flowers being too girly, try their feather headband, the perfect accessory for a day at the park or a night out with your husband. It's that versatile.

While it's difficult to choose a favorite, I'm thrilled to tell you that TWO winners will be going home with a:
Lou Lou flower clip in yellow ($8)
The perfect touch to a ponytail or bun! These adorable flower clips are lined with a velcro strip for a no-slip finish. Silk ranunculus flower with rhinestone center, with grosgrain covered single-prong metal alligator clip. Flower diameter: 3.75"
Make an adorable statement with this fun accessory! These handmade headbands are comfortable enough to wear all day, and add the perfect touch. Silk daisy flower with rhinestone center with grosgrain covered thin metal headband. Flower diameter: 4.75"

Which LylaLous design is your favorite?

geela {giveaway!}

Being a mom you quickly come to realize there are a lot of products out there that claim to simplify or make your life easier. What you'll also find is you end up owning a lot of products that seemed like a good idea at the time that are now stuffed in the back of a drawer or closet. This is not the case with Geela. In fact, I can honestly say I use their products every single day, sometimes multiple times in a day. Geela makes life helpers for baby people, they do it really well, and their prices can't be beat.

One of their most unique products is the Geela wrap:
Our unique baby wrap is in a continuous loop so you can put it on in less that 10 seconds. It has half the fabric of traditional wraps, so no more tangles, and more compact for diaper bags. There are no uncomfortable fasteners or knots; included is a Geela band that allows you to adjust to fit. Finally, a wrap that is fun and easy
to use!

*view instructions for use here

Two of my favorite Geela products are:

The Modern Mama (nursing cover) which has answered all my nursing needs. I love this! It is so nice to not be hiding out in the dressing room or bathroom stall. Instead I'm am comfortably covered, with my hands free (instead of clutching a blanket for dear life). This has been a lifesaver in multiple situations in the last 4 weeks, and I do not leave home without it.

but I have to say, their diaper clutch is my absolute favorite item. I take it everywhere with me. It's compact and light, and holds exactly what I need. A few diapers, wipes and a change of clothes. The modern fabrics, mixed with some vintage are just my style, and the embellishments add just the right touch.

Today Geela is giving away the following (in the designs shown)

one sling ($40) Notice it's reversible, the fabric is breathable and the sling can be worn in multiple positions for infant and toddlers.

one diaper clutch ($35)

and one wrap ($40)

THREE winners (hooray!) one item each, so be sure to tell us what you'd love the most in your entry.

polkadot papoose {giveaway!}

Stylish...Practical...Irresistible. Call them what you will, but unless you've worn one, you can't possibly appreciate the artistry, versatility and comfort of a hand-crafted Polkadot Papoose baby sling. Established by a free-lance babywear designer with a vision for a product that would capture the hearts of sensible-yet-fashionable moms from coast to coast, we are more than a brand; we are the hand-scissored edge of the babywear industry and the "must have" baby sling for the modern mom.

Never before have I owned a baby sling, and never have I worn one until now. I have to say I am impressed, and finding it especially useful with baby number 3 now in our midst. It allows me to have my hands free, and get far more done than I would without it.

Aside from the conveniences baby slings offer, there is scientific evidence proving at least four differences in babies that are carried in baby slings close to their mother and babies that are kept in swings, bouncers and other enclosures.

Dr. William Sears, America's best known pediatrician has identified the following four distinctions:

*Fewer fears, fewer tears - babies who are carried in baby slings cry at least 40 percent less than those who are unslinged.

*In pockets, brains rocket - Researchers have reported that babies in slings show enhanced visual and auditory alertness, and a much quicker absorption of information.

*Sensible sling, sensible world - Sling babies have been shown to be more organized, aware, and even more tuned in to adult interaction than other infants.

*Babyworn, baby warmed - There is ample evidence to show that sling babies are socialized more quickly and more effectively than their penned-up mates.

more detailed information here.

If those aren't reason enough, perhaps some of Polkadot Papoose's best features will:

-100% cotton designer fabrics
-high-quality and handmade
-innovative binkie pocket
-reversible

The baby sling is definitely making my life easier, it's fashionable and if it's helping Finn than it's definitely worth it to me.

Polkadot Papoose is giving one of you the opportunity to try a baby sling for yourself. One lucky reader will win the baby sling of their choice.

Which design will you choose?

*Extra goodness: Polkadot Papoose is offering all Tangled and True readers 20% off with code "tangled".

tea collection {giveaway!}

If you've been following this blog for any period of time you know that I am a huge fan of the tea collection. I'd go so far as to say it may be my favorite. Every tea item I have ever purchased has lasted through multiple washings, wearings, both girls, and the clothes still look as good as the day they were purchased. The knits are high quality, they don't run or tear, they are soft and comfortable, the cottons some of the best I've seen, and I believe the designs speak for themselves. They are unlike any other brand I have come across.

They've recently launched their spring line. It's beautiful. Simple designs paired with bold, bright colors and filled with brazilian samba style.

I'm happy to say that tea is once again offering one Tangled and True reader the chance to win a $75 gift card. Your choice of anything you like, will you choose East meets Brazil? Stick to one collection? or dabble in their Daily Tea? It's totally up to you...

Which clothes will you be putting in your cart?
