I buy a lot of my baby's toys at flea markets. Even though they are so charming, there are some worries with old toys: lead paint, small parts, etc. So I use these
lead paint tests I picked up from my local hardware store, only $12.

my news did a test on these test to see how accurate they were compared to the ones that the state uses and it didn't read lead all the time.... be careful! some states have a place where you can take toys and plates to have them test them for you.... it might work a bit better..and a bit more reassuring!
