I agree that a headboard completes the bedroom {or boudoir}: "It provides a focal point and makes the whole room more inviting." If you can't afford the standard wood or brass version, we finally have a how to {thanks to Martha, of course} for a shortcut. In Blueprint's Cut and Paste Makeovers, they suggest cutting a silhouette out of graphic wallpaper. The instructions {and patterns} for this virtual headboard are all available here.
this is so cool. I'd love to do it around an unframed mirror too. Wouldn't that look neat against a solid wall?
